We made this post to give fupre post utme candidates a good idea of what fupre post utme is like , The post is based on past post utmes, specifically 2013 to 2017. First of all fupre post utme is normally a written exam, not oral or document screening (except in 2016 when JAMB cancelled post utme exms). From past questions (2013 to 2015) the exam normally consists of five different subjects; English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each subject has an average of fiften questions, sometimes more and students can score a maximum of 50 marks i.e the exam is marked over 50. Speaking from past experience, "Not Yet Admitted" in fupre post utme portal means that the admission process is not yet officially closed i.e another batch of admissions MAY be released.  It is by no means a guarantee that the candidate will be admitted, "Not Yet Admitted" will change to "Not Admitted" when the admission process ends officially. Fupre post UTME screening form 2017 is out. The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun hereby invites all candidates who scored 180 and above and applied for admission into the University as first choice in the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) to apply for the Post UTME Screening Exercise. Fupre Centre For Maritime and Offshore is studies is as a result of collaboration between the Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun and Maritime/Offshore Industries. The goal of the centre is to maritime and offshore related courses with national and international recognition. The Federal University of Petroleum Resources partners with relevant and respected maritime, offshore and onshore contracting firms supplying a range of maritime based services to the Oil and Gas Industry. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the 19 th  of January, 2016 for industry participation and development of the centre. Fupre Jupeb Programme  (Foundation)  is a direct entry programme leads to the award of Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) Certificate which enables candidates to gain Direct Entry admission into 200 level Departments of FUPRE and other Universities in Nigeria and abroad. 

Fupre stands for Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun. Effurun is the Capital of Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.

There are two main ways of gaining admission into fupre via direct entry, it can be either through the Foundation/JUPEB Program or the Post HND Program. Foundation/JUPEB Program This program is meant for direct entry into 200L science and engineering departments in fupre. The duration of the program is one year and the requirements is complete O’Level Result and of course you have to meet the JUPEB cut off for the department you are seeking admission into. You can check out O’Level Requirements for various departments here . Post HND Program This program is meant for direct entry into 300L engineering departments in fupre. The admission requirement is hnd result in a related engineering department.
