Petroleum Ministry, PTDF, NCDMB to give 2% of their budget to FUPRE

ABUJA—HOUSE of Representatives, on Wednesday March 28 , mandated the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources to henceforth cede two percent of its budget starting with the current year to the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Delta State to boost research development in the Oil and Gas Industry. Other relevant government agencies mandated for the same purpose include the Petroleum Technology Development Fund, PTDF and Nigerian Content Development and Board, NCDMB. The House reached the decision at plenary after considering a motion by Mr Reyenieju Daniel.
