Fupre Centre for Safety Education is the result of the collaboration between the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) and the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) as stated in the ISPON Act 2014 Section 3(h) states that the Institute shall have power to affiliate with any university or other tertiary institutions for the purpose of offering higher degree programmes.
